Printmaking: Linocut and Anything You Can Use to Print

This course focuses on linocut printing, supplemented by found objects and materials that can be combined and used as printing blocks in an experimental context.

The starting point is the paintings, drawings, or other media you have worked with so far, whether representational or abstract. The resilience of the material and the specific conditions of printmaking techniques provide inspiration for the artistic process and leave plenty of room for the unpredictable, the imperfect, and the unintentional.

The beauty of printmaking is that it provides a temporal and technical framework within which thought takes on unexpected forms.

I'll guide you through every aspect of your projects—from concept to printmaking—regardless of your prior experience with printmaking.

The course creates an inspiring space for group discussions, mutual support, and artistic exchange, where we can learn from and with one another.
